Robotics and humanoids
Whole assemblies, like a 107-part robotic leg, matched and quoted as one project.

Our story
Open Foundry was born from frustration: brilliant engineering teams losing months to poorly matched suppliers, unclear capability data, and sourcing that still runs on trade shows, spreadsheets and word of mouth. We built it to take a released design all the way to production.
Join the waitlistWhy it matters
Our founders have worked inside automotive and precision manufacturing, where choosing a supplier is not an admin task. It is a programme risk.
Finding a supplier that can meet the tolerance, quality, lead time, certification and commercial needs of a programme should not take months. Too often, teams rely on incomplete websites, outdated directories, trade show contacts and capabilities that are hard to verify.
Our mission
Open Foundry brings data-driven intelligence to the whole journey from a released design to parts arriving on schedule. Our agents read the CAD, find makers for every part, and run quotes, orders and deliveries as one project.
We don’t simply recommend suppliers. We structure the evidence, compare it, and show you why a supplier fits. You contract with them directly, and we never take a cut.
Open Foundry is for companies that can’t afford supplier guesswork.

What sets us apart
Engineering-led
We understand tolerances, drawings, quality systems and production intent, not just keywords. Built by engineers who have shipped programmes.
Quality systems expertise
Suppliers are judged against ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 and the standards each industry actually demands.
Commercial and technical together
Capability, capacity, lead time, location and cost drivers are weighed together. A capable shop that is commercially unviable is not a match.
A global network
Suppliers worldwide: 15,000+ mapped in 67 countries, so you can source close to home or wherever the best maker is.
Evidence, not claims
Websites, certificates, equipment lists and delivery records. If a claim isn't backed by evidence, it doesn't reach a buyer.
Through to production
We stay with the project after the award: orders, deliveries, quality and engineering changes, in one place.
